2026 Goals and Date Ideas
Happy New Year to all my friends and lovers! Here’s hoping 2026 holds some excitement and passion (as well as comfort and security). While I’m not typically one for resolutions, I do have some goals I’m hoping you can help me achieve this year.
Goal #1: Finish my PhD
This is my biggest and most pressing goal. I’ve been struggling to finish mainly because of time constraints but we press on! I am aiming to defend in the summer which means the remaining winter and spring I will be hunkering down to write as much as possible. To be able to focus on that, I will be taking on a few new clients and prioritizing multi-hour bookings so that I don’t have to venture into the world of 9-5’s just yet. You can also support me by keeping me caffeinated—I will never turn down a coffee tip or gift card. Encouragement in the form of chocolate is also welcome!
Goal #2: Learn Italian
I am part Italian on my mother’s side (hailing from Cosenza) and I am learning Italian. I’m currently just using Duolingo, but if you speak Italian and are willing to help me practice, I’d consider a discounted booking if that strikes your fancy. You’d still need to fill out my booking form and provide screening/deposit of course. I’ll provide the cannoli.
Goal #3: Have new photos taken for my website/social media
My last professional photos were taken in 2021 and I’ve since cut my hair (and am growing it out). I am in desperate need of some new photos to reflect that. If you’re willing to sponsor a shoot with Anna Sliz, please reach out.
